Ideal for first-time surfers and beginners, this session at the Beach Break wave introduces the fundamentals of surfing in a safe and supportive setting.
Led by expert surf guides, you’ll learn essential skills such as paddling, standing up, and catching waves, along with ocean awareness, surf culture, and proper equipment use. With a personalized approach, our coaches ensure you gain confidence and have an unforgettable experience on the water.
The full session lasts 2 hours, so be sure to arrive 1 hour early for check-in, changing, a safety briefing, and a pop-up lesson with your coach before hitting the waves.

- Your journey begins as you arrive at the Surf Club, greeted by our experienced team

- Arrival: Arrive an hour before your scheduled water time to check in at the Surf Club, meet your guides, dial in your equipment and take care of all the pre-surf prep.
- Pre-surf: Before you’re anywhere near water, you’ll learn the basics that set you up for the pool. We’ll break down paddling, standing up and where your feet go on a board.
- Your session: Now the fun part. You’ll apply everything you learned on land to the pool for 45 minutes. Our guides stay with you the entire time, as you progress from first paddle to final ride.
- Post surf: Hang out at the Surf Club, compare notes with other first-timers, or just enjoy that post-surf feeling that’s hard to describe but impossible to forget.
