Inspired by the UAE’s pearl diving heritage and the original story of “The Legend of the Lost Pearl,” the park follows the adventures of Dana, a young Emirati girl on a quest to find a legendary pearl and restore prosperity to her village. That local spirit runs through the park’s theming, attractions, and character-led details, giving every ride a story to discover.

With the opening of its major expansion, Yas Waterworld is now home to more than 60 rides, slides, and attractions, including over 20 new rides, slides, and experiences. The new “Lost City” theme continues the park’s original story while adding even more ways to race, splash, spin, relax, and play.

From high-energy rides like Dawwama, the world’s largest six-person tornado water coaster, to family-friendly play areas, wave pools, lazy rivers, kid-friendly slides, and themed attractions, there’s something here for every kind of waterpark day. Little explorers can enjoy splash pads, mini slides, and interactive play zones, while thrill-seekers can chase bigger drops, faster turns, and head-to-head races.

Age and Health Restrictions:

Yas Island Theme Parks attractions are not recommended for expecting mothers, persons with a history of neck, back, joint or heart problems, or persons overweight or with physically limiting conditions. Guests with injuries (casts, bandages, etc.) or contagious diseases are not permitted at the attractions.
Yas Waterworld Age Limit:
Guests aged 11 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult, holding a valid admission ticket
Children aged 2 and under may enter the Yas Island Theme Parks for free and do not require an admission ticket or reserved space.
Children aged 3 and above must hold a valid, paid admission ticket to gain entry.
Government-issued photo ID may be required as proof of age

New Entry Options

To make your visit smoother and more secure, new entry options are being introduced, including digital QR codes and facial recognition.
If you choose to use facial recognition, you’ll need to complete a Consent Form linked in your ticket instructions.
Guests aged 18 and above must fill out the form themselves, while parents or legal guardians must do so for minors or those unable to give consent.
